Happy Valentine’s Day

While I’m not huge into Valentine’s Day in the traditional, romantic sense, I’ve always enjoyed celebrating this day with my kiddos through paper heart crafts and activities.

That said, I recently learned the historical accounts on how Valentine’s Day came to be, and I was kind of fascinated by it, you guys!

Truthfully, it gave me a new respect for a holiday that I truly thought was nothing but a huge gimmick.

So, here I am wishing you all a (late) happy St. Valentine’s Day while spreading a little love and affirmation through a new printable!

Love and Affirmation

Love and affirmation just go together, you guys!

I’ve recently been super into affirmations, positive quotes, and uplifting others through positivity cards.

After struggling through a very hard year where I had to battle depression and extreme grief, I’m ready to put my focus into brighter things.

With this shift in focus, I’ve also been creating a lot of positive content and printables both here and on the Life + Homeschool blog!

So, I encourage you to also spread a little love through affirmation cards and lunchbox notes when you get the chance!

Affirming Candy Hearts

Since I’m on a major positivity kick, and I recently created a conversation hearts printable on the Life + Homeschool blog, it got me thinking about how I really wanted to create something even more uplifting and encouraging for this time of year.

So, that’s how these affirmation candy hearts came to be, you guys!

That said, I do know they are a little late for Valentine’s Day this year, but I still encourage you to print them off and decorate with them for the remainder of February.

Or, simply bookmark this page for next year!

You Are Affirmations

As a Christian woman who struggles with self-worth, I created these for myself as much as I did for all of you!

And these are the you ares I chose to use.

You are loved. You are beautiful.

You are strong. You are worthy. You are amazing.

You are capable. You are enough. You are His.

I chose all of these words because they speak volumes to my own heart, and I truly believe that most women need to hear these things on a regular basis.

No matter what season of life you are in, whether you are single, married, or widowed, these specific words and affirmations can be incredibly powerful, you guys!

Using Your Candy Hearts Decor

All of the current printables here on Be Still Inspiration are designed to be used in a 5 x7 frame, including this one!

I’m super into interchangeable home decor, and our free printables make it easy mix up your seasonal decor while using the same frame.

The frame you see above is the frame we used for seasonal decor in our first home for 10+ years.

This frame also transitioned over to RV life with us, and now it features holiday and seasonal prints in our brand new home!

Honestly, I’m hopeful that this frame will be around for as long as I am because it’s one of those things that just feels like home, no matter what or where our home of the moment is.
